Hello. I have an old queensland tgat has been relocated to my property. I am wanting to paint under the house. I plan to leave the ceiling exposed. It is just the underside of the floor boards and floor beams etc. I have been taking out the old nails and clips etc.
I would now like to point this timber under the house. What paint do you suggest ?? I want to also protect the timber.
Should I go acrylic or oil based ?? Are there any anti termit additives I could put into the paint ??
I would like plain white as a colour ??
Help and suggestions would be great.

Congratulations on your new home
As a Brisbane Builderwe LOVE hearing about people who have rescued these magnificent old girls and put them on their property
The issue with these old girls is movement. Being made of timber and having all that air circulating, they tend to expand and contract a little bit. For that reason we would recommend using an acrylic paint as it is more flexible.
Dulux do make a brilliant oil based undercoat though that we would recommend using first.
