The building inspector said he 'suspected' it was asbetos or contained asbestos. From the original plans, it looks like the material was 'Carcelite'. I can't turn this up anywhere. I attach photos of the present roof, but am not sure if this is 'Carcelite' or newer roofing. Either way, it's leaking and rotten and needs replacing, but just wondering if anyone can shed light on this?
