my first post and hope this makes sense along with the diagram prepared to help aid my description. The space I have upstairs is very small and I am unable to fit a desk or small table. My job and question is to use a very light weight table top and attach it to the interior balcony using a device like a drawer slider or some mechanism as shown in the diagram resting vertically in position 1 and using using this mechanism to lift or slide up the light weight table top (red arrow in diagram) and flip over to a horizontal position as shown in position 2. The idea would be to have the light weight table top rest on the balcony as a temporary table. Than return the table from position 2 in the diagram back to vertical position 1. I would be highly appreciative for advice on a mechanistic device that I could use to lift up and flip over the table top.
