Hmmm they see easy to knock out. I've rung far and wide though, but I can't find anyone willing to do the job.
Around here, you could make a killing removing these things!

This may sound strange but have you called a house demolition company? They may be willing to look at doing this type of job, especially if you say that you are happy to fit around their other jobs.

Good idea re-demo. They are pretty busy around here, but I could always try.
It's in Avondale Heights, north west of Melbourne. These era houses are becoming more popular with young people because you get a big block near the city for budget prices, now looking to modernise. They are a dime a dozen at the moment because this generation of migrant is unfortunately passing on. I was thinking of demo, but there is a good house behind the balusters. Solid oak floors, strong frame, immaculately cared for.
