It seems the bullnose iron / guttering is still from the original build I had heard somewhere in the past about having original iron re-rolled to remove the dents and straighten it out. The iron is quite soft compared to newer corro and has suffered from being walked on over the past 100+ years. Is anyone aware of anyone who still posses the rolls that can perform this task and is it really feasible? Perhaps redoing it new is the way to go? Thankyou for any assistance / tips you can provide We have a Victorian style ripple iron fence out the front that has some moulded timber capping.
