Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 May 29, 2017 12:15 pm hi all Ive never done an extension or any major renovations for a home but am in the market to buy a family home at the moment and have seen plenty of houses that are a bit small and struggle to think of ways to extend easily in the future. An example of this is in the attached picture. We would have a spare $150-200k to renovate and extend in the next year or two but im not sure how this can be done. We have two young boys so blending inside with the backyard is key. Any tips would be useful. Goals would be: 4 bed, 2 bath (1 enuite to master) with an additional rumpus room (pretty much Kitchen, Meals, Lounge and Rumpus). Ideally, id prefer the kitchen at the back of the house with an alfresco/deck area coming off it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ You must be new to the internet.
