Can we actually build a simple deck/patio at the front of your deck? Possibly not but I think I have seen 1 or 2 houses that has pool in front of their house, only downside is privacy. You may not want others to see you swimming or throwing litters into the pool. As far as I have read, the rules are whatever you do, there is a standard 6M setback for all houses in Brisbane. That is, no structures are allowed to be built within that area.
