Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Feb 27, 2017 5:30 pm Me and my wife are planning to renovate our small house in Newcastle. We want to change the wall paint colour, disposed unwanted stuffs and improved the room of our kids. We have 1 boy and 1 girl. We want to make our small bungalow house look spacious. What paint colour combination would you suggest? I like gray, my wife wants lighter yellow and for the kids room combination or pink and blue. What do you think? Re: Planning a home renovation. Help! 2Feb 27, 2017 5:52 pm Pink is a mistake. She will get sick of it and it's hard to cover up once it's up there. I suggest white or eggshell through the whole house, this way you can use art and posters to add the colour. You can also get doona covers that are colourful for the kids. White makes a small space look larger. Re: Planning a home renovation. Help! 3Feb 27, 2017 5:52 pm buildX Me and my wife are planning to renovate our small house in Newcastle. Personally I'd go with a lighter neural colour if you want the rooms to feel bigger. You can spice the rooms up with coloured furniture if you want some colour for the kids.
