Hi Everyone,
It's been some time since I have been on here but was hoping to get some help.
I have an old property with a Sleepout out back. Its about 9x3 meters with an asbestos roof. The owners before me fitted the sleepout with a kitchen, bathroom and tiled throughout. No one has really stayed in there for the last couple of months but I have noticed some water ring marks on tiles and water patch on ceiling from where the water is dropping down from.
I'm assuming some nails have lifted or there may be cracks somewhere in the roof.
Would anyone know what the cheapest way to fix this would be? I do not want to remove and replace because I will be knocking down to rebuild in a couple of years.
I don't have much experience with roofs and asbestos so I don't want to be walking on it (will I fall through?).
Apparently you can seal it, tape it up or paint it? but how do you do it without cleaning it?
If anyone can direct me on any solutions or know someone who can fix it for me ASAP that would be great. We're currently storing stuff in there and don't want anything damaged if possible.
It's based in Fairfield, NSW.
Cheers,
B
