Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jan 20, 2017 12:14 pm Hi guys We recently had some new plaster work done to patch up plaster that had come loose following some minor soft soil movement and also to patch up cracks in the walls. The walls are concrete with a plaster coating. We hired a licensed plasterer to carry out the work. Everything looked fine until I went to clean it using a damp cloth to wipe the dust off. As you can see from the photo below, the plaster is full of holes, some as big as 2mm. From what I've read it could have been caused by too much water and/or air in the mix. It was a hot 40c day when the work was done so I don't know whether that would have contributed. Has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it? Would like to be informed before I go back to the plasterer for him to fix it. cheers Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I totally agree with everything you have written.
