Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jan 05, 2017 11:55 am My outdoor area is comprised of two different concrete slabs. One old slab that has some old paving on it and a newer slab that is about 70mm lower than the old one - photos attached. I would like to make all this one level and tile over it, but not sure how to achieve this. I have had some thoughts.. 1) Run some joists across the two slabs to make them level, attached some yellow tongue and tile over that - might run into height problems around the door. 2) raise the lower slab by adding another layer of concrete over the top. Not sure if this would work though 3) Not sure if i need to remove the old paving/tiles before going over the top. Any thought on this would be amazing.
