I'm wanting to replace a sliding door with stacker doors and increase the size of the opening from 1.8 to approx. 3.6m. Its an external wall where the dining opens up to the patio. I want to find out what size beam I will need for the new span. Where do I find the appropriate span tables and how do I read them? What is the process for this situation? Is there a mobile app I can use? I'l post some pic's up if I can work out how to do it... Fyi - My house is a 70's brick veneer low set concrete tile roof.
