The difficult thing is I was hoping to fully clad up the side up to the deck, making the roof onto of the ceiling a little more tricky. Any ideas? I could screw iron up to the joists, running inwards, gutter, and put into a close-by waste pipe, not much risk to my plaster ceiling as there should be very little water getting in anyway. Is that the best way, then it is fully enclosed? If the deck roofed/walled above the deck level? That style of deck is by design not sealed- you cant put a plaster ceiling under it & expect it to last.
