Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Oct 14, 2016 12:49 am Hi All My wife and I Moved into my Masterton Home about 1 year ago and have a decent size home theater room. A niche was installed against one of the walls. The niche is 1980mm wide and 1700mm high from the ground. The problem I have is for the projector screen to be in the perfect position i need to raise the height of the niche by about 200mm - 300mm. Spoke to one person who wanted to charge in excess of $800 to do it. I'm thinking that quote was expensive and wanted a few opinions. It is a hard job to do. To me it doesn't look that difficult but i'm no builder either. I've attached a couple of photos of the Niche now and prior to gyprock. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Thanks Daniel Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Unless the room is for storage then it's non compliant BCA V2 2019 S3 P3.8 You have 2 options 1.
