Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Aug 25, 2016 12:21 pm Hi Renovators, My house has external attached toilet. It has approx 5 sq m roof (no menwhole). Slope might be 5 degree. When there is heavy rain with wind, water comes inside the toilet. So, plan to replace Terracotta tile with some other solution. I am thinking of one of the two things. Need your opinion and any other alternative. 1) Put plywood and attach shingles 2) Colorbond Roof. What do you think? -GC Re: External Toilet Roof (5 sq m) 2Aug 25, 2016 10:57 pm gobarchand Hi Renovators, My house has external attached toilet. It has approx 5 sq m roof (no menwhole). I wouldn't be using shingles at that slope either. Kliplok may be a better option unless you can improve the pitch by using bigger battens at the high end of your roof.
