Hi! We just bought a new home and we are in love with it. The only little problem I have is that I find the kitchen a tad bit small. My husband and I are too busy to brainstorm about what kind of kitchen extensions we would like, so we were wondering if maybe you guys have any cool, innovative suggestions…Something original perhaps, but still within a reasonable price range.

Well, I have to say right off the bat; it always helps if you know what you want. Having visualized a certain project before diving into it is important. Like my dad used to say, ‘If you can dream it, you’re half way there.’ So, this brings me to my question for you. You surely must have something in mind, a color, the type of walls and windows you want in your kitchen, and of course how big are we talking?

You know, you are totally right! I’ll always stick to that saying from now on before I jump into anything huge. I think I’d like to extend it by approximately 4 or 5 meters in longitude, I think it’ll give us a decent amount of room to add a nice family table.

No, not really. I mean, we will lose some lawn space because of it, but we don’t mind since the lawn is pretty humongous anyways—it will simply mean less grass mowing. And as for the walls, I think adding a woodsy touch to the kitchen atmosphere would be cool…Kind of cozy, you know?

Very cool! Okay, so no dire sacrifices will be made to extend your kitchen. That’s good. And the wooden walls sound really neat! For inspiration you could check http://www.dpsco.co.uk/portfolio/catego ... extensions
