Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Aug 10, 2016 2:15 pm Hi all , We have a separate kitchen, dining and living room that we would like to open up into the one room to make this more family friendly. To keep costs manageable we don't envisage moving the location of the gas or water as these, we feel, could be okay where they are currently (though will take the advice of the drafts person). Can anyone recommend a good Victorian draft person? Preferably someone (in the eastern suburbs, ringwood way or within 20km) who is able to provide some advice on design/layout given that we are not in a financial position to go down the path of an architect and also because the task seems quite straightforward and for budget reasons we are limited with what we can afford to do. We had been hoping that builders might come in and provide some recommendations but the few we have spoken to have indicated they build to plans only. Also, would a draftperson be able to provide advice on flooring types and windows? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanking you all in advance Re: Looking for recommendations for a draftsperson (Vic) 2Aug 11, 2016 9:03 pm I've done some work with Alesha Davison from Lecadli Design and Drafting. Wayne from ace drafting is in Ringwood east, I helped a builder do a small extension he drew earlier this year. Plenty around, if you have any friends that have built be wise to ask them too Re: Looking for recommendations for a draftsperson (Vic) 3Aug 17, 2016 5:16 pm I was happy with the one I used. He was responsive and provided suggestions for a sustainable design as his focus is sustainable buildings. He's on the other side of town though. If you would like his details feel free to PM me. Richard@themakeovergroup I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6884 Hi team, Im looking for a second hand sd4b monitor preferably white. 0 8923 |
