Our house on the inn-er-northwest of Brisbane was a post war house that the previous owners extended in the front in the 80's, which adds a lot of internal space however she chose to use brick! And she incorporated these hideous brick arches on the downstairs exterior of the house. Happy to hear all ideas, big and small. I feel like we definitely need to add some depth and texture to the house otherwise it would end up looking like "the Playschool House" as my husband puts it! We'd like to use weatherboard (in keeping with the back of the house) and put on a new colourbond roof and carport (side-on) in the front of the house, and maybe put a deck on top the existing carport.
