Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jun 26, 2016 8:42 pm Hi all, In the middle of a full kitchen/bath/laundry renovation and I'm upto the point where I need to start getting my Blueboard up in the wet areas. I've already had the blueboard delivered so using a different product isn't a real alternative. Put a couple of pieces up in the kitchen using Screws, but that in itself wasn't a walk in the park given the hardwood frame of the house. Any suggestions? Would hiring a nail gun of some sort from Kennards be an option or would it damage the blueboard or Perhaps not penetrate the hardwood? Any advice is appreciated! Re: Nailing blueboard onto hardwood frame 2Jun 27, 2016 8:53 am Blueboard ? You should be using Villaboard or similar. Blueboard is usually used outside where it is going to be acrylic rendered. As for nailing into hardwood you may need to pre-drill the holes with a small drill bit.
