But, it could do with a coat of paint. And here's where the trouble started... The house was cream/beige/brown everywhere, from the render and the floor tiles all the way to the water tanks and the ceiling speakers. So we selected brighter colours which is our preference, but then something didn't match the next thing, so we changed the next thing as well, then that didn't match something else, which in the end resulted in an avalanche of colour changes, and before we knew it we got sucked into in a holy war to chase every bit of brown out of the house Everything that could be sanded and painted, we sanded and painted. Failing that we either aircoated it or dressed it, or as a last resort we replaced it. Photos before and after to follow, but like I said I understand we probably got carried away, so if you feel you liked it better before don't hesitate to say it. Personally I enjoyed the experience, I used power tools I didnt even know existed and generally had a heap of fun The end result: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ some pics of the previous look: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Happy to answer any questions if you have them And big thanks to Michelle for her advice The warning is on the sticker on the door too.
