So about a month ago I designed the kitchen with IKEA. I got a few quotes done and obviously chose a better quote.
So after I installed my kitchen I got the final measure" for the Benchtops was told by IKEA that at the most a fluctuation of $300 or less.
The benchtop guy come around and extra charge was almost $1000 The measurements for exactly the same as per design a kitchen fit perfectly. So I called up to see why there was a fluctuation of $1000.
I got told I have a phone call back within 48 hours 48 hours past I called up got told that it would be another 48 hours and the customer service officer was extremely rude and hang up on me 48 hours past I called up once again the customer service officer was extremely rude once again and hung up on me told me that I have to wait another 48 hours.
Apparently they are waiting on information from the benchtop people so I called the benchtop people which were absolutely fantastic it took them five minutes to sort it out and said they sent all info 6 days ago.
I was absolutely disgusted in the way that IKEA handled this matter and I'll never use them again purely on customer service.
Everything that I've renovated so far they were by far the worst company to deal with when it comes to complaints. They showed no interest in helping the people that you talk to blatantly rude. All I can say is thank God the GMG were fantastic. And would do better not dealing with IKEA
