Hi all, Im new in this forum so please bear with me while I work it all out .....
What I would like to pick your brains about is repainting weatherboards, I have a 1950's home and it is in bad need of painting ( I have only been here 1 year ) ....the existing paint is not lead I have checked .
I have scraped off all the flaking and loose paint on the front of the house and was about to sand , but Im wondering if it would make it easier on me if I stripped the paint back as well ??? any suggestions ....if so what stripper do you suggest ...I used diggers on the window frames , it was ok, but seemed a bit slow....
I have already don't the front verandah and it came up well, but the paint was in better condition, so not as much to sand ...
