So the one who came highly recommended was forthright and told me he's too busy to take on any new jobs. I have looked at heaps of building designers' web sites and to be honest a lot of them have scared me off because their designs are just way too architectural for my needs. Is this a valid concern or am I worrying for nothing?
At any rate, I am after a simple ground floor extension comprising a laundry, bathroom and one or two bedrooms plus possibly a rear deck. The plan is to later reconfigure/update the internals of the existing home but stage it so as to (hopefully) not blow my budget and allow us to remain living here while it's done.
Can you suggest someone you've used or genuinely trust for similar purposes?
