It will be undercover with a tiled roof and I basically would like to deck it out with an area equipped for a BBQ including rangehood and a sink for food preparation. Unfortunately a main sewer pipe runs through my property and I have been told by South East Water that I am able to build the Alfresco however, I will need to remove the BBQ/kitchen from the design otherwise it will not be approved. Apparently, they do not allow for a sink to be build within close proximity of an easement. Does anybody know what the reasoning for this is? Can anybody give me suggestions for an alternative as i am not able to plumb a sink near the main sewer pipe?
