Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Sep 02, 2014 10:40 am Hi all, Hoping for some advice, first time renovator and we have a house extension underway. We have an older 30 year old home, which is currently bricked in this "lovely" yellow textured brick with Mission Brown roof and gutters/fascia (yuk). We're bagging the house as they weren't able to match the bricks and I wanted some advice. We've opted for a Jasper Roof and Gutters (as they are replacing tiles and guttering as part of the extension) but we have this lovely colorbond garage door that is classic cream and also the side fences are classic cream as well. Given I don't want to replace this door any time soon (really have a limited budget), can anyone suggest some nice modern colour combinations to paint the render/bagging of the house, to compliment the Classic Cream garage and the Jasper roof/gutters? We also have a Sydney Blend (sandstone look) retaining wall which compliments the garage, so it would need to work with that too. Cheers Linda Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10106 Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 2826 You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 17586 |
