Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jul 21, 2014 3:46 pm hello all, I am looking for recommendations for internal house painters for the Manly area in Sydney. I have a 3 bedroom house, with 2 x living areas, dining room, kitchen, 3 x hallways and 1 x rumpus room. Normally my husband and I would be more DIY hands on but are already tackling so many other projects in the house that we like to call in the professions. We have already had one quote at $10k + GST. does that sound reasonable for this type of job? the wall are in decent condition with not much patching/smoothing work required. ceilings would be 2.4 m high. four rooms would need to be undercoated (currently a darker beige yellow) before the new white paint colours are applied. many thanks G Re: House Painter recommendations for Manly Area, Sydney 3Jul 23, 2014 3:34 pm hi there yes, I have used them in the past for other jobs at my previous unit with less than stellar results/satisfaction with the finished result so thought to throw it out for a personal recommendation (if possible). I also wanted to gauge if this price range was what I should be expecting? thanks. CDC Housing Code 3 When to apply Floor Area external face of wall vs Gross Floor Area internal face of wall.
