Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jul 03, 2014 12:57 pm I have a brick 1970s house with a sunken lounge room. I am removing the carpet and getting it tiled my question is what to do with the lower part of the walls in the lounge room, should I extend the floor tile up the wall to meet the level of the upper floor, there is a 30 mm drop between floors. Would bring the tile up the wall look ok or am I best to get the wall sheeting extended down to the floor? The house had carpet running up the wall the 30 mm, not sure what to do. opps sorry I mean 30 cm's not mm
