Ive given thought to creating a 3x4m storage area in my roof space. The existing brick internal walls are strong enough to hold up. But the existing ceiling rafters are 90x35mm pine beams only intended to hold up the gyprock! In new houses generally internal wall slabs aren't thickened and the walls are non Loadbearing fastwall.
