I just posted a little rely to a problem with cracking of blueboard once rendered.
which got me really thinking .........
what are the positive and negatives to using blueboard as a water resistant cladding or tile backing for wet areas
or even a flooring for tiled bathrooms or wet areas.
i have found this "MGO board" (Magnesium oxide board) which i have used on a couple of Renos as a replacement for Blueboard. just wanted to ask if others have used MGO board or are still using Blueboard ? i have found it cheaper and better !
- if you google "Magnesium oxide board or MGO board " it will give you a complete run down of what it is and can be used for.
