I am looking for some advice
I am turning my outdoor pergola into an enclosed roof with color bond roofing and 6mm Villaboard sheeting for the ceiling. The total area is 40 square meters.
I have calculated that the sheeting will add approximately 650kg of weight across the span.
The current rafters are 180mm x 38 spotted gum spaced at 900 centres.
The posts are 75 x 100 hardwood Spotted Gum.
I am wondering weather i will need to add extra support to the roof to allow for the load or weather the timbers will be sufficient already.
Thanks alot.
