Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jul 27, 2013 1:56 pm Hi Guys, Just a quick one - what sort of professional would I need to replace a timber ceiling? I'm looking at it being replaced with just a normal ceiling. Area is 4x6m. I'm pretty good with other things but heights and ceilings are my weak spot. Cheers, Gwen Re: What Sort of Professional Would I Need? 2Jul 27, 2013 6:14 pm Define Quote: being replaced with just a normal ceiling? You mean plasterboard ? You'd be able to rip out the old one yourself to save some dollars. Then all you need is a gyprocker to install the new sheets and plaster. Dulux even have trade centers. Don't have to be a trade to but their paint. 1 14043 You can wash over existing pavers with 10% solution of water and hydrochloric acid, then wash off. The acid will provide for required bond key with new concrete. 1 32173 |
