Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 May 16, 2013 3:45 pm HI, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on the plumbing for an extra bathroom. We have just built a house and want to add an extra bathroom. On the other side of the wall we have the shower and bath from another bathroom. But the only actual thing on that wall pluming wise are the taps for the bath. (hot and cold) I just would like to know what would be the solution to get drainage points can we just pop it through the wall into outside and down so we don't need to affect the concrete slab? Does anyone have a ballpark figure of how much pluming and knocking through walls etc would cost for drainage and plumbing .. $1000 or $10,000? Re: Adding a new bathroom!!!!! no pipes 2May 17, 2013 2:55 pm Without seeing the room and knowing where your plumbing is its like asking how long is a piece of string. You might be lucky and be able to tap into a waste pipe running around the outside of the slab(below ground) If I were you I would ask the company that built your home for the plumbing plans.
