Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Mar 15, 2013 12:15 pm Hi all, Hubby and I have done so many backflips with what to do with our current house that I think we are slowly loosing our minds - subdivide - sell - extend - subdivide- sell -extend.... and so on. The house is very solidly built, fantastic location (thus why we paid a premium for it a few years back), the only downside is that it has a slightly small yard (~510sqm). We know that if we were to sell to buy our ideal house it will be further out from the city, without the convenience of public transport at our doorstep. So, to help reach some sort of conclusion, I was wondering whether someone has a detailed spreadsheet that they would not mind sharing with me, that lists all the cost items (without the numbers of course) they came across during your extension. If you have one that goes into details to include all the nitty gritty (eg doors, vanities, etc) that would be perfect. We are looking at extending up. That way with some research we can begin plugging in numbers and see what it would cost us - of course it is only indicative.
