Remove: wall ( to open up kitchen), kitchen and remove old tiles, old bath etc. Remove all rubbish. 3.Carpenter gryprock for bathroom 4.Electrician for bathroom and kitchen 5.Painter for first coat of paint. 6.Tiler to tile bathroom, finish bathroom and tile balcony. 7. Timber floors. 8. Install New kitchen 9. Final coat of paint. Does this look right? Your feedback is very important to me. Re: Planning and order for RENO 5Sep 20, 2012 9:37 am Then the bathroom is the first room I'd look at stripping and renovating. When you rip out the bath, shower, toilet, taps & tiles there may be large parts of the render that may have to be removed and patched. If the plaster is in poor condition or drummy then you should probably strip it all off the walls , do your rough-in ( plumbing and electrical in new positions ) , then render the walls. This can sometimes take a couple of weeks to dry sufficiently ( mostly takes three to four days ) so that you can do your waterproofing. Any other structural work ( strata will probably make you get an engineer to certify the structural work too ) I'd do that sooner rather than later for the same replastering reasons. Quote: 3.Carpenter gryprock for bathroom Make that renderer for the bathroom. What has the strata said about the pergola ? Most will make you apply to the council for a DA if is is large - smaller not so much and will depend on how pedantic they are about the rules. Stewie I am new to this forum so please bear with me.
