Hi, We are looking at creating a first floor in our inner city house. The house is only 4480mm wide. The height from the ground floor to the newly constructed first floor will be approx 2300. Leaving 1000 for a hallway at the bottom of the stairs, i.e. the base length of the stairs would be 3480, would a stair case built with these dimensions meet NSW building regulations? Or would the stairs be too steep and we'd be required to put in a turn in the stair case to accommodate?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Many thanks.
