We are currently extending our house and our builder has suggested we look at Hardiplank v weatherboard.
His reasons being that it will be on the second story and will require less maintenance long term, looks similar, less issues with rot (which we have had issues with because of the climate).
I am quickly trying to make up my mind but have only able to find a small amount of details on the website.
Would appreciate feedback/review from anyone who has this product.
I am also wondering if anyone has information about the thermal mass of the product compared to weatherboard being on the upper level - would this product cause the rooms to hold more heat and therefore hotter?
