Our tenant just left and now we have a choice of moving into our investment property, which is a 4 bedroom Californian bungalow style house.
The previous owner has done some minor renovation before, but we felt there are some areas that could be improved (e.g. one of the room is very small and also a very small toilet). The problem is that we don't want to overcapitalise on the renovation, as we might want to turn it back into an IP later.
Should we get professional advice? If so, who & how much would it cost?
Sorry, but we are a bit lost at the moment. Any pointers would be appreciated.
