Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jul 18, 2012 5:46 pm Hello everyone, My first post! but anyways.... Quick history - my partner and I have recently bought in Highgate Hill (Brisbane), narrow block 11m frontage - 600sqm. Looking to do up an old workers cottage. Lift / Extend / Build underneath - its already on stumps (not legal height though). The boundary on one side is a bit iffy so I'm thinking we're gonna need - identification survey - contour survey - height certificates - soil test (new slab? - we have a pretty large storm water drain running through our back yard.... new buyers mistake ughhh... designer said there'll be always ways around it) Just wondering if there are any Brisbane people in here that can recommend some surveyor and soil test companies they have used in the past? On top of that, is there anything else anyone reckons that we need? Much appreciated on the help!
