Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jun 06, 2012 8:32 pm Hi everyone, I live in Brisbane an im planning to extend my brick house. I am going to add 25sqm room to the front of the house , in bricks on a concrete slab. The tiled roof is going to be extended as well. I am also extending two bedroom and add an extra 1.5 m away from the house, no roof extension required but a new concrete slab. In the room they are building the space for the bathroom and kitchen as well, but fittings, painting or flooring are not included. Also no plumbing or electrical (trades in the family). Doors to the granny flat and bathroom, windows, wet areas are included in the quote. All up I was quoted 45,000 for the room and 9000 to extend our bedrooms. Does this quote sound good, ? They using concrete or timber sleepers? Timber or steel uprights? Any drainage behind sleeper? 3 5877 Hi We have a road close to our place and only an old flimsy wooden fence between us and the Neighbour closest to the road.
