Hi everyone,
As anyone got any advise about removing a chimney from the kitchen which is located in the centre of the house. It is currently taking up valuable wall space where we would like to install cupboards/rangehood. Our current kitchen is completely original, and as much as I love it, it is not very functional, and its time to put in a new one, thus removing the chimney.
Does anyone have any advise on, who to use.. builder or are there specialists, how much, structural issues that may arise, whats involved, how long does it take, potential issues with asbestos? have I forgotten anything
We have a 50's weatherboard house in the western suburbs of Melbourne, planning to extend however, need to keep kitchen in current location if at all possible. Need to make sure we don't over capitalise with what we would like to do.
Any advise much appreciated
