At the moment it has pipes running along the inside wall for about a metre to get to the sink. They're really big pipes and stick a long way into the cupboard. The plumber says he can recess them into the inside of the external wall it runs along by taking away some of the bricks. He says this is normal practice. Is that true?? I'm wondering about any repercussions with strata should anything go wrong like drips or burst pipes. He does say he'll put in smaller pipes though, they don't need to be as big as they are.
