Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jan 22, 2012 9:39 am Hello, we have recently placed some walls up stairs to make an additional room, the ceiling in the room is wonky, it seems to bow upwards, as when i put the cornice on it was quite noticable? Do we have to replace the plastering or is there a trick to doing something with the cornicce to reduce the obviousness of the ceiling? thanks heaps Patchie bought a house in dec 07 - it's a renovators dream, lots of things to fix!!! So where the beams are higher add a bit of timber then you glue, nail the gyprock to that. So the cornice is level underneath. I hope the makes sense. Then cornice as normal.
