The painter will be using Solver brand paint. (opinions on this brand welcome too). I want the house painted in Dulux Antique white USA. My question is: will the colour be perfectly matched even though the base paint is Solver and not Dulux. I don't want the paint to look like anything other than Antique white USA!! Thanks. Here are some answers.. - Antique white USA is quite common and beautiful choice. - It won't be 100% perfectly matched, but it will be very very close. Most people should be happy with the result of color-matching. - Dulux and Solver are not equal in quality at all. Solver paints is cheaper/budget brand with very average quality, the product aimed at the not so demanding consumers. While Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans, Haymes are all premium brands with better quality products. Many "average" and commercial painters like to work with Solver Paints because they can buy it really cheap. You probably will not find "premium quality" residential painter who works with this brand. However the final result depends much on the applicator (the Painter) as well. There are some painters who would mess up with highest quality paint, and there are some who can achieve good results using cheap/budget paint. Good luck Hi, Have used the Dulux 1 step, oil base on my walls(white set), out of can it’s already a more thinner product than a final coat paint Also in water base Water or… 3 5038 Thanks mate, is there a standard off the shelf type breathable product I can apply DIY?
