Hi there people,
My husband and I are considering renovating our kitchen and bathroom/laundry (our bathroom and laundry are in the same room). We live in a 2 storey house and these rooms are on the ground floor. Our kitchen is tiny and U shaped. Our current bathroom/laundry contains a shower, toilet, basin with cabinet underneath, washing machine, and laundry basin. Ideally, I would like to remove the bathroom/laundry to make room for a larger kitchen and place the laundry/bathroom in the study. We probably need a new floor (floorboards in the kitchen area and tiles in the bathroom/laundry). I'm happy to go for laminate for the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. I've had a quote of $5500 to have the house re-stumped (seeing as the previous owners who did the 2nd storey extension did only half of the ground floor ). The house is weatherboard. Is this possible with $50k or am I dreaming? Thanks!!!!!!!
