Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Nov 28, 2011 2:54 pm Hi All, Hoping a builder out there or someone who has taken on a similar project can help me out.... Just after a rough idea of the cost to build a one and a half car brick garage with colourbond skillion roof and concrete slab floor. Don't need any windows and happy with a manual rollerdoor. Has anyone built anything similar in the past and can advise on a rough price? I'm planning my backyard landscaping and for now I'm just looking for an approximate price to work into my budget. Not sure which state you are in but a mate of mine had a colourbond double and it cost 17K with concrete pad and with no lead in or anything. I thought Brick with tiled roof for around 48 was a good deal but if you say 15K then maybe not so good, but still not a million miles away. I am assuming yours is a single for 15K. My prices are for Perth. Cheers mark Re: Rough costing on construction of a garage 5Nov 30, 2011 7:58 am AussieMark Doh now I am bummed, I thought AUD48K for a tripple was a good deal. For a stand alone triple garage with no other works being done at the time and all permits, plans etc. $48k is a great price for a triple garage if you are relying on hiring a builder to take care of it all. Re: Rough costing on construction of a garage 6Nov 30, 2011 9:03 am Thanks for the assistance everyone. Sorry about the lack of details, for a one and a half car garage I was thinking around 4.5m x 6m. Mine is 8.95M by 7m with a high pitched roof to allow cavity ceiling. 28 course, tile roof. The price is probably like that because we are also building a double storey through the same builder.
