Some of the ones I've seen are hopeless/rough. I'd get an experienced carpenter instead. It also depends whether you want a straight shaft or splayed. A splayed shaft looks better and lets more light in ( also quite a bit more expensive ) but you do have to have good gyprocking skills which a lot of the skylight installers don't. Stewie It might be a bit darker in the mornings but the light is still light, so you should be getting it.
