hi,
sorry, this is what I meant. (see below)
If you can extend the loo door out a bit too, you could fit in a basin, so it becomes a powder room.
I would make sure you have double the sound proofing as that wall (loo wall) backs on to the master bed
in the old laundry have a wall of storage, or whatever you want in there, just make it nice really, as it is the only way to the pool, unless you go via bedrooms
extend the deck so both rooms can open onto it, with stacker sliders, or with french doors.
You will still have the same wall space if you have them opening out.
I had a laundry in a cupboard down the hall for years, and now it is in the garage and it worked well for our family of 7 (dryer was in garage)
The office, have a sliding door instead of a window, so it can be accessed by the general riff raff and they dont have to go into your home, if you work from home and see clients at all.
even if you dont, good selling point later. (hairdresser, beauty therapy, nails, flowers, it would appeal to that type of business) Even if you dont do the slider, the office being there and not at the back as in option 2, would suit more people maybe....
I think the media is an ok size, as you also have the family room upstairs and another multi room, so really..it is just for watching tv. parties can be upstairs!
