Question is what is some ideas to give this a top finish. Oil the Merbau and paint the posts? The posts are just a standard cream colour and do need a good coat. I have also heard that I should bleed the Merbau first, they are currently sitting on top of pebble looking concrete and will more than likely get wet from the weather. I also have a merbau slat screen just behind my new BBQ so if I need to bleed it be best to know now rather than wait for the BBQ to get drenched in red looking stuff.
