I am in the infancy stage of a project for a family member.
We are renovating a studio flat in perth. Set a project period of 4 - 5 weeks. Its a rental, so any delays will be costly.
I love to do most things myself when doing my own renos, though i am well aware when a time frame is tight it does pay to get the pros in.
This is my plan. The walls are face brick, a 60's common brick that have a fine shade of yellow paint over them. The look is dated and fixing sheets to the wall with masonry adhesive should be cheap, quick and bring the finish up to current standards. I have calculated i will need about 15 sheets of gyprock for the project, 2400 x 1200's.
Has anyone on this forum installed their own sheets and had a flusher come in and flush the joints?
Any idea of rates for a flusher? I met one years ago that charged by the linear meter. If anyone has some current rates I would like to hear from you.
