Cut the plasterboard sheets 1200mm from the floor all the way around the room. New sheets will fit straight in. Also, it means the tiles are still fixed to the plasterboard, so it's easier to get rid of, less mess. It's cheaper to do it this way. BTW, dont worry about the sound -proofing. The nipper will be be driving a car before you know it.... BP (and Bam) - how do you cut the plasterboard 1200mm from the bottom (or anywhere) if tiles are attached? As for not soundproofing due to rapid rate of growth for bub - even older concerns me more (phones, games, friends in rooms - whatever ).
